I’m not a wine drinker. Red wine makes me itchy, white wine always tastes sharp and unpleasant.
However, over the last month I have deliberately walked through the wine aisles at my supermarket and at a fancy wine store to see if they have some Stormhoek, so I can raise a glass to Hugh. Hugh trusts his readers to do right by him, and that’s just plain decent of him.
